Comment on OTW Board response to concerns about the meta decision

OK. I just read one or two comments and I see already without delving into the discussion that there are intense feelings about it.

I am involved with literary fandoms mainly which focus largely on scholarly meta. I really think I have no place in the discussion and NO ax to grind.

They said meta and I think something about as far away from fandom wank as possible--more like literary journals.

I'm a neutral and will just be sure I have my one piece of non-fiction backed up in case the anti-meta people win and it gets deleted.

My primary concern is really just about being able to find fic (as a reader) and letting others find my stuff (as an author). I already have pretty much no luck trying to find what I want in larger fandoms, so making the categories even bigger with no control/filtering is frustrating.

That makes perfect sense. I can see how that might not have occurred to me as more of a rare fandom person.
