Summary
Exploring an ancient Jedi Temple on Vrogas Vas, Luke runs into a little more trouble than he bargained for. Meanwhile Doctor Aphra has been sent to secure the pilot who destroyed the Death Star, and the Inquisitor who was once Ezra Bridger has a mission of his own. Their colliding paths will lead deep inside the Temple, to the revelation of secrets decades old, made only more complicated when Darth Vader comes to claim his son.

Based on this discussion between myself and sparklight . What if Mandalore had remained a militaristic people, split between the expansionist warmongers of Death Watch, and Satine's insular neutrality?

Obi-wan was unsure as to why the Council had asked him to attend this meeting, but it was clear from the expressions of the Masters and the tone of the Force that this was a serious matter. It was Yoda who took the lead, and spoke first.
“Aware of the Council of Neutral Systems you are?”
“Yes Master,” Obi-wan replied. Already he had some idea of why he personally had been contacted. It was to do with his... particular history. “Some have taken to calling them the New Mandalorian Empire.”

The only option is to take Vader prisoner, and work out what the Rebellion can possibly do with him from there.

Summary
Maul dies on Tatooine and wakes up over 40 years in the past. He quickly seizes the opportunity to change his fate and free himself from his Master, to save his brothers, including the one he doesn't yet know he has, and plot a new revenge against Darth Sidious with the advantages of time, foreknowledge and a surprisingly familiar Mandalorian face. It isn't only his own destiny that Maul's actions will change for the better, but that of Jango Fett and the entire Mandalorian people.
As far as the Force and the Ka'ra are concerned, healing hearts through the power of family and friendship will just be a nice side effect of saving the galaxy from its terrible future.
