Summary
Fumei had been peacefully sleeping on her desk, when, with absolutely no warning, she was violently stabbed through the back of her shoulder. She fell out of her chair as she woke up, and looked frantically around the room for her attacker. Suddenly, the pain dissolved, and she stared in utter horror up at Nagisa-sensei, who stood over her with his index finger extended.
‘He poked me?!’ She was panting and her glasses had fallen off, so he could see the fear and incomprehension in her widened, cloud-grey eyes.
"Are you okay Fumei?" he asked, concerned.
She didn't answer. Instead, she snatched her sunglasses, and her school bag, and raced out of the room as fast as her legs could carry her.

Summary
"Nagisa-sensei, why did you decide to be a teacher?" Kirasaya asked.
"It was in middle school," Nagisa said fondly, "I had an amazing teacher, and he inspired me to become one myself. He helped me realize that I wanted to mould young minds."
"Was he really that great a teacher?" Kirasaya was skeptical, but Nagisa just smiled at his student. "What was his name?"
"We called him Koro-Sensei," Nagisa told her, "and he was the greatest teacher I've ever had."

Summary
"You and Nagisa-sensei are pretty close, huh?" Misono inferred cautiously.
Karma just shrugged. "We've been friends for about ten years," he said nonchalantly. "I suppose we're pretty close."
"You must know a lot about him then... Do you... do you know where he learned all that a—" Misono lowered his voice— "assassin stuff?"
"Oh yeah! He's pretty sharp with that isn't he," Karma remarked, unperturbed. "He's got a real talent there, always has, as long as I've known him.
"I'd say it really started, though, in our third year of middle school," Karma explained with mock thoughtfulness. "Our teachers were Bitch-Barbie, Batman sans-silly-costume, and a giant yellow octopus."

Summary
"Hey, Nagisa-sensei." Shirota was finally going to ask his teacher about the issue that had been burning in the back of his mind since his brother's request the other day.
"Yes?"
"What do you think about family?"
"I think... it's more abstract than most people are led to believe," Nagisa said after a moment. "Family isn't necessarily blood relations, and blood relations aren't necessarily family. I take it this has something to do with what you were trying to ask me before? Is it your brother?"
Shirota didn't respond. He looked down in thought.
"The wrong kind of family are fair weather friends," Nagisa told him. “They act like they care, but once they have what they want and you're no longer useful, they leave you with nothing. I'd warn you against getting too tied down by the traditional concept of family."
"Thanks Nagisa-sensei..."

Summary
"That's the final bell class!" Nagisa-sensei announced as his students packed up their bags. "Have a great break, I'll see you back at school in the fall."
"Good bye, Nagisa-sensei."
"Have a great summer, Nagisa-sensei."
Exams had been a beast, but despite their worst fears, everyone in class five got passing grades, if only just, and they were rewarded with summer vacation. No lessons, no assholes from more "respectable" classes, no responsibilities.

The patron sighed. "I trust the rest of you have something better to report... Crown, what do you have to report?"
"I've infiltrated the target's workplace," a feminine voice answered. "I don't think anyone suspects anything, but I need to observe the situation some more before I make any kind of move."
"Alright, and you, Grip?" the patron asked.
"I accepted your offer a little preemptively just 'cause I was excited to see it, but I'm actually in the middle of another job right now, huh," replied a low, smooth voice. "I should be wrapping it up soon, and I'll be in Japan a week from now, huh."
"Seriously?" The patron growled, low in his throat, and no one could mistake his displeased tone. "Fine, fine. What about the rest of you. Muskeg, tell me something good!"
"I've familiarized myself with my target's schedule and am making my first attempt in three days."
"Excellent! Finally, someone proactive. Who's next?"
