This series had me at ends with how I feel about it. At times Sherlock is so frustrating and difficult that John staying with him seems ridiculous. To be so forgiving like this borders on self flagellation.
While I read all chapters, 1 and 4 are the ones to reread. Mystrade is romantic and Sherlock and John get a wonderful ending.

Holy s**t! I can’t with this series! It brings me up just to bring me down and then up again. I can’t deal with these kinds of emotional rollercoasters! And yet I keep coming back for the angsty drama because of those sweet happy endings.
