Summary
“And so it was that, in the summer of 109 AC, Queen Aemma took once again to her childbed, remaining there for near two days for what would be a difficult and taxing labour. In the early hours of the morning, King Viserys and his lady wife welcomed a living babe—but not the babe they expected. The arrival of a second daughter took both by surprise, for they had come to believe the child in the Queen’s belly had been their longed-for son. It was nonetheless announced that the Queen had been delivered of a healthy girl, and a great relief was struck up across the Realm, the bells of King’s Landing being rung from dawn to dusk and the people gathering on the streets in praise of their new Princess.”

Summary
“King Viserys sent him into exile, never to return to the Seven Kingdoms on pain of death… Of the aftermath, these things are certain. Following the tragic mishap of Lady Rhea Royce’s untimely death and the Princess Rhaenyra’s wedding to Ser Laenor, Daemon Targaryen returned to the Stepstones and resumed his struggle for those barren storm-swept rocks. The subsequent decade found him abroad in Essos, keeping residence with various highborn families in Pentos and holding court with his paramour Mysaria, returned to him after an extended period of absence. It was only with the birth of Princess Rhaenyra’s third son Prince Joffrey—and the announcement of his second daughter’s search for a husband—that King Viserys finally wrote his erstwhile brother, bidding him to come home.”

Summary
“Over the centuries, House Targaryen has produced both great men and monsters. Prince Daemon was both. In his day there was not a man so admired, so beloved, and so reviled in all Westeros. He was made of light and darkness in equal parts. To some he was a hero, to others the blackest of villains. There can be no doubt, however, that he was viewed by all as a faithful lord husband to his second wife, and the tales of their love echo still across the Seven Kingdoms today.”

Summary
"It is the attestation of several notable figures - Septon Eustace and Mushroom being in rare accord on this matter, among others - that the match between the King's brother and daughter was one of considerable intimacy and ardour. So great were Daemon's appetites for his young bride that, when seeking his whereabouts upon Dragonstone or in King's Landing, it became commonplace to jape that one need only proceed directly to the Princess’s bedchambers so as to find him.”

Summary
“When the Princess learned she was with child, her uncle immediately set to scouring the Realm and beyond for physicians of repute, eschewing the service of the Maesters of the Citadel. His efforts did not end there; if one were to believe the Prince a domineering figure in his bride’s life, then this period of time only served to heighten his covetous nature to extremes. Those who sought to deny his affection for her fell silent with the announcement of her impending motherhood.”

Summary
“Thus was Prince Daemon banished from his brother the King’s city, and with him his niece and newborn heirs. Exile had long favoured the rogue, and this latest decree brought a period of quiet to the isle of Dragonstone, the years giving rise to further progeny to strengthen his House’s line. Together with the Princess Rhaenyra, Daemon and his wife presided over the Targaryen stronghold for several years before circumstances would take them once more to King’s Landing.”

Summary
A series of short, unrelated ficlets to serve as alternate universe snippets of my main series, terms of endearment, which tells the story of Daemon and Reader, the second-born daughter to Viserys and Aemma. I consider ideas for this side-project over on Tumblr (see within for more details)! This has no connection to the main story, other than what is described in the beginning chapter notes!
