Summary
“Can ya teach me to play cards?”
Husk’s wings retract. The glass nearly slips, but he’s quick to catch it, before rearing back on Angel with widened eyes. His pupils are like pinpoints — like a cat, Angel thinks, before shoving the thought away and taking a casual sip of his drink.
(Husk had an inkling that Angel was a little ditzy, but not this ditzy.)
“You want me to teach ya cards?”
Husk and Angel bond a bit (and maybe flirt a bit too)

Summary
His tone is unamused. Holding a tinge of confusion. Husk was always direct in his conversations, and Angel could detect when Husk was hesitating on certain questions.
He’s been caught out.
Husk breathes deep, dumping the glass into the sink with a clatter, his rag flopping to the countertop as he plants both hands on either side of Angel, boxing him in. They’re almost nose to nose as Husk’s voice drops. “Angel, I know you’re high again.”
Angel relapses for a night. Husk has things to say about it, good and bad.

Summary
Angel groans, sliding a set of hands down his face in a desperate attempt to wipe away his frustration. “Alright, Charlie, spill. You found the edibles, didn’t you?”
Charlie sags, losing her composure as quick as a balloon losing air. “…yes. Well, no. Kinda.”
“…kinda?!” Angel and Cherri ask in unison.
“I didn’t find your edibles. Um…Husk and Niffty did. And we sorrrta have a problem.”
When Husk ends up accidentally high, Angel Dust and Cherri are tasked with keeping an eye on him. Angel figures whatever, it’s what friends do, right? This won’t change their dynamic, no, certainly not.
(Too bad Husk is charming even as a drugged mess.)

Summary
It’s not like this was very out of the ordinary. Angel had been coming back from the studio later and later these days. He only ever called to ask Husk to feed Fat Nuggets or keep him company or scratch his ears or whatever inane shit Husk was likely doing anyway.
His voice is gruff as he answers. “‘Ey. I already got your pig in my room for the night.”
“Husk, I need help.”
Angel turns to Husk for help getting out of an especially brutal night in Val’s studio.
It’s actually a real good idea, recruiting an ex-Overlord.Series

Summary
“I don’t get it,” Husk mutters, refusing to look Alastor in the eye as he feels him shift across the room. “I fucked up a job. You hate it when I fuck up jobs.”
“That’s not my main problem with you at the moment.” Alastor morphs into form in front of the window, framed by sinister light. His eyes glow in the dark of the room. “It’s about where you wander when you think no one is looking.”
When Husk fucks up a job for Alastor, he braces himself for the consequences.
The worst part of it all is it’s because of Angel; and Husk would be damned if he let Alastor touch him.Series

Summary
“Honey, I know exactly what you need.”
Lucifer gets to his feet, flipping his cane effortlessly in one hand as he moves to the whiteboard. “Ya know, your old man used to throw shindigs too, but they were all about fancy getup and good food. Of course, it doesn’t have to be as uptight as Heaven…But! We can make it nice, maybe a beautiful set-up in our new expansive garden, gourmet food, a designated dance partner!”
“So…a fancy party?” Vaggie squints her eye.
“A ball!” Lucifer declares, waggling his fingers in a flourish.
As the gang moves through the motions of the Hotel's Grand Re-Opening, Charlie decides to throw a fancy ball complete with beautiful outfits, fancy food, and designated dates.
Lucifer's stuck wrangling the rivalry of the damned radio demon. Husk realizes this might be his chance to make his move. Angel Dust hopes this'll finally be his chance to be asked on a proper date.
