Summary
Ever since he’d returned from the Nation of Wisdom, Aether found himself nearly falling into sleeping spells. Perhaps if he could get proper rest he might not be so tired, if only he could escape the nightmares that plagued his mind. He’d had them ever since he first woke in Teyvat, but with every new set of adventures came new horrors to haunt him in his dreams. It was only natural, considering all the things he had gone through while saving one nation after the next, but lately it was beginning to feel like a dark miasma was poisoning him from within the recesses of his own mind.
One day while resting with Xiao in Liyue, Aether feels another spell encroaching on his consciousness. Only this time he cannot fight it, and must rely on the Conqueror of Demons to rescue him from the shadows within.
