Yanqing does not fear death.
Such a fact is a perfect trait for a Cloud Knight, especially as the Lieutenant. To protect the people, to protect the General—one such as he should face the end with his head held high. That is the oath and duty he took up on his first day.

Such a fact is a terrible trait for a child, especially the one Jing Yuan raised. He has never been heavyhanded in training him—never held him back too much and never let him stray too far. The days he watched the boy chase small birds and play with toy swords were still fresh in his memories.
