Ezra groaned. “But I’m stuck. What am I going to do while you’re gone?”
Kallus paused before he opened his door, turning deliberately back to Ezra with a very smug smirk. “Hide.”
“Kallus-” Ezra began to shout, but cut himself off. It wouldn’t do to have another officer catch him there. He would literally get himself killed.
Kallus was going to be gone for quite a while and in that quite-a-while Ezra was going to be trapped on his ship.
