Summary
“It’d be funny, wouldn’t it?” he murmured, breaking the awkward tension that had begun to build. His voice sounded funny, almost nasal—a natural result of the alcohol in his system and his sluggishness. “That two things so different could end up as a whole on your last night here.”
A sigh was the only response—he couldn’t tell if it was out of exhaustion or something else—accompanied by a pensive expression, something the boy immediately tried to fix by letting out his best attempt at a silly laugh.
“Yeah… it’d be insane,” came the reply, and before JeongIn could stop him, he intertwined their fingers in such a way that both marks aligned perfectly.
And then the world stopped.

Upon turning twelve, an incomplete mark appears on the side of the back of your hand, just below the thumb (on the thenar eminence). Some people have it on the right side, others on the left—you’ll only discover who completes your tattoo when you hold hands with them.
