Summary
Dick Grayson is eight years old when his parents die in a "tragic accident." He is sent to live with his mysterious godfather, in a sprawling mansion in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey outside of Gotham.
He's pretty sure the house is haunted.

Some of the inspirations behind this include Edgar Allen Poe, the entire Gothic Horror genre, and The Addams Family. This fic will focus more on the found family aspect of Batman, but there will still be Batman stuff happening (leaning heavily into the supernatural elements tag.) Expect mostly Dick's POV (chapters from another character's POV will have it mentioned before the chapter.) Tags will be updated as needed.Series

Bruce Wayne wasn't trying to pick up the "playboy" part of his persona. If he traced back his steps, he'd have to blame the shareholders of Wayne Enterprises. They're the ones who insisted he go to Lex Luthor's stupid party in the first place. And now he's waking up in a shitty motel room with someone he should have avoided like Death Itself.
But that's fine. Everything's fine. Don't worry about it. It's not like this just made everything more complicated.

Kate Kane was honorably discharged from the army's top secret "paranormal" division and immediately landed an even more dangerous, monumentally more asinine unpaid gig with her cousin, Bruce— same paranormal bullshit and then some, only this time there's not a trained team of trauma-bonded soldiers watching her back.
Instead she's got a perky teenage sidekick who just showed up out of nowhere, a cat burglar who likes to play mind games, an alcoholic magician who won't stop trying to recruit her to Justice League Dark, and apparently a city so full of supernatural energy it might just have gained sentience.
Canon to the 'Going Home' AU. This is what Kate is up to outside of the main plotline of Going Home. There will be spoilers for the main plotline. You don't have to read 'Going Home' to read this, but it might help.
