Summary
Akechi Goro has his suspicions that the curly-haired Alpha he is spending so much time with is a Phantom Thief. More accurately, he's likely the leader of that little organization - thesis and antithesis, after all. But Ren keeps his neck covered. A chance decision to visit the bathhouse with his rival leads Akechi to make a discovery insofar kept entirely private.
His rival, the only person who sees him, who challenges him, is not an alpha. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Goro's been far too busy to further interrogate what it means for him. After a long, stressful workday, a free night comes with the promise of dinner with his closest friend/most loathed enemy. To beat his enemies, Akechi Goro has to know them. He needs to see the Thieves work, needs to see how his rival decimates the cognitive world with his endless zeal and righteousness.

When one of the executive's mental traps necessitate that Ren reveal a months-old lie to the rest of his friends, Akechi Goro will need to scramble to make an accomplice out of Amamiya before the rest of his friends wholly reconcile. Trust is harder to repair than it is to shatter, though, and it helps that the alpha detective has known of Ren's designation for months now.
