Summary
The Sage of Truth had many students over his innumerable years of teaching, and he'd be willing to admit that there were some he liked more than others. It wasn't until Truthless Recluse appeared on his roster that he realized just how much space a single pupil could take up in his thoughts. Purely out of circumstance, of course, with his cool indifference and continual chance encounters.
Right?
(Or, five times Sage thought he wasn't obsessed with Recluse, and the one time he realized he was)

Summary
Truthless Recluse cared little for being honest. Why would he? No matter how his professor tried to postulate otherwise, the truth was a source of bitter hurt for every ear it fell upon. So cheating on an exam gave him no moral quandaries. The plan was simple- Take his exam, skim the correct answers from the Sage of Truth's mind as he graded the exams of his peers, and leave all the more smug for lying to the Truthsayer.
His plan didn't account for the Sage thinking of something far more licentious than the answer key.

Summary
The Sage of Truth could admit he ached to see Truthless Recluse show up in his office again. Just one tryst wasn't nearly enough to satisfy his desires. If anything, it made them worse, now that he knew what taste to imagine on his tongue and what sounds to replay in his mind. Restraint was a burden, but one he found himself willing to bear, if it meant his darling student would make the next move.
But when Recluse did finally show up with complaints about how long it was taking for him to return homework grades, Sage could certainly find it in him to hammer home the importance of patience.

Summary
The promise of a 'guest lecturer' introducing the topic of shapeshifting intrigued Truthless Recluse, he would begrudgingly admit. The Sage of Truth hardly seemed the type to admit there was someone better than him in his field. It all clicked into place when said 'guest' came in to teach, bearing a very striking resemblance to his professor, just...older. Much older.
And that might've been a factor in Recluse being open to being schooled in more than just shapeshifting.

Summary
The only reason why the Sage of Truth decided to go out to the local tavern was to take pride in a few easy victories through trivia. A short night out of some easy games as a break from grading and test writing, kept anonymous by the persona of the Lady in Azure. In the off chance she happened to see anyone she recognized, she'd turn a blind eye.
But how could she stay away from Truthless Recluse after catching sight of him alone in a corner booth, especially as the possibility of an entirely new form of entertainment took hold of her thoughts?
(Title is from the elegy Ars amatoria, otherwise known as The Art of Love)
