Summary
When Sansa is born to the Warden of the North it is during the Springtime, with the scent of flowers in the air and the bright sunshine of the day. She is a small thing with a shock of red hair on the top of her head and eyes so blue they remind Eddard of the ice that haunts the halls of Winterfell even in the spring.
Her daemon is a girl–not the first time that this has happened, but her family had a boy name chosen. It’s days before a name is pulled to the surface.
Jessamine. It is uttered in the dark of the night by Eddard, his wife and daughter beside him.
Sansa Stark and Jessamine the daemon.
Eddard knows they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Summary
As a child, Robb had few regrets.
His father would have insisted it was because he was a child without any blood on his sword and his head in the clouds. As a teen, Robb’s regrets were more along the lines of childsplay–sparring that lasted too long, going for a ride with too few furs, drinking too much.
But now, Robb is a king.
King in the North.
And his regrets match those of a boy turned man far too suddenly. He regretted letting his father leave the North, not hugging Sansa tightly enough as she left, not teaching Arya at least the basics of how to use a sword.
The death of his father marks the beginning of a war and Robb regrets not riding Southward with them months ago. But Robb was Lord of Winterfell in Ned’s stead and now he is King of the North in his death.
His reign is marked with regrets.
