What if Loki was, in actuality, a Shakespearian tragedy and we pulled him out of that genre and into hurt/comfort instead. Also an actually powerful sorcerer who fixes shit. (Like that's what every myth about Loki includes, him fixing some problem that only half the time is his fault)

What if Marvel wasn't a fucking coward and made Steve and Bucky gay for each other, like seriously the thing that snaps Bucky out of brainwashing is a literal promise to stay by each other's side for life. If that's not soulmates I don't know what is.

I'm taking Phase 1 of the MCU (minus the hulk movie), plus The Winter Soldier as the canon for this series. Because the point of the Avengers is that they are SUPERHEROS that are FRIENDS. With that in mind, this series focuses on my two favorite characters, Loki and Bucky.

Loki will be pulling a little bit of random mythology into his stories and far more magically powerful than is displayed in the MCU while also dealing with simultaneous immortality and being a teenager. Loki will also be genderfluid and will be coming out to Thor on that at some point.

Bucky will be recovering from the HYDRA shit with the help of Steve. They both have PTSD and are gay for each other. Sam is also here and is both a little shit and a counselor.

I don't know if I'm going to add anymore superhero characters than this. Antman and Spiderman are the only ones I like of the newer ones so maybe they'll make appearances.
