This time, something large moved. It showed up on the scans so heavily that Raph got excited for a bit that it might be an earthquake or a hidden volcano eruption–
– until something shot out of the water, partially still submerged, but so tall and large that it showed up on Raph's grainy camera despite its distance.
Holy fucking shit,” Jonny said, when Raph excitedly showed everyone the picture.
“It looks huge,” Nastya observed.
“It is,” Ivy confirmed, staring intently at the image. “It is at least 2,37 times the size of the research vessel.”
“The research–? Oh my galaxies, what the–” Nastya murmured, temporarily rendered speechless as everybody noticed the small submarine the thing had between its jaws.
Then, everything shook, and the camera feed wiped with a sudden flash.
