Description:

An exploration of the intellectual rivalry and friendship between U.S. Supreme Court Justices Evelyn Baker Lang and Christopher Mulready, as told through a series of vignettes that are each vaguely inspired or informed by a different amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Innumerable thanks to HarmonyLover for encouraging me to write this entire series.

Notes:

Part 1: Equal Justice (Amendments 1-10)
Examines the lives of both jurists prior to their confirmations to the Supreme Court, overlapping some of the events from the Season 5 episode "The Supremes" (in which both characters were introduced canonically).

Part 2: Amici Curiae (Amendments 11 & 13-27)
Random moments in the lives of our Justices during their tenure on the high court. And a lot of heated debates about constitutional law.

Part 3: Lacuna (Amendment 12)
A non-canonical, stand-alone story in which various members of the Lang Court react to the results of the 2016 presidential election.
