Summary
While on the train to the Loeb family’s estate in Charlevoix, Michigan, Nathan and Dick make vital discoveries about each other that lead to a pact.
Told in third person, but from Loeb’s POV.
“I want you to be the source of my pleasure,” Nathan said. “You’re handsome and intelligent and so far above everyone else.”
“You flatter me,” Dick said, his smile growing, because yes, this was exactly what he wanted. He could see the hunger, the barely contained lust in Nathan’s eyes as his gaze ran over Dick’s body.
“I simply see you,” Nathan countered. “Your attributes are plain enough for any imbecile to see, but I don’t want them to have you. I want you to be mine.”
“What do you propose, then? You want to kiss me? You want to have sex with me? What is it that you’d like?”
“Anything I can get,” Nathan said, a smug grin on his face.
Dick’s grin was predatory. He had Nathan right where he wanted him. A quid pro quo deal. An action for an action. A crime for a roll in the hay.

Summary
In another world where they had not killed Paulie after the ride – that is, they simply had not killed a child yet. Nevertheless, it is a quest that must be undertaken.
Tw: drug abuse, violence and generally breaking 20 laws casually. The relationship is as toxic as it goes.

Judd should really be embarrassed at how he practically scrambles to get off the bed and onto his knees on the floor beside it.

Summary
“So you never have then Juddsy?” Arthur’s grin is a sick steak knife crescent moon all white and terrible. Judd can’t tear his eyes away and even when his fingers go weak, trembling as they are, he is still enthralled.
