Summary

Summary
Remus and Tonks had stipulated in their will that they wanted Hermione and Ron to take care of Teddy if anything were to happen to them. Unfortunately, Ron wasn’t prepared to settle down. He stayed with Hermione for a week but realized that he wasn’t ready to start a family with an infant.
It wasn’t until Draco saw Hermione caring for Teddy alone that he connected the dots. She wasn’t struggling with his care; she appeared at peace- something he had witnessed only a handful of times during their years at Hogwarts. She had opened a bakery down the road, and Draco began visiting every few days, eventually stopping by right after work to purchase the remaining bread and pastries.
Hermione never questioned why they barely spoke, but Teddy was always happy to see him. It wasn’t odd for the two; after all, they were cousins. Hermione didn’t shield Teddy from him; she wanted Teddy to have the opportunity to be with family. It took Hermione a few months before she allowed Draco to take Teddy out when Teddy started asking him to go to the park. Not because it was Draco, but because she rarely let anyone take Teddy, even Mrs. Weasley when she tried to convince Hermione that she needed a break.

Summary
When things start to go haywire in Wizarding Britain, Harry gives custody of Teddy over to Hermione and begs her to get out of Britain. Sirius, Severus, and Hermione leave with young toddler Teddy Lupin and head for the U.S. After getting away from one chaotic situation, they seem to land directly in the middle of another even more chaotic situation. With Teddy being not only a very young metemorphmagus, but also a werewolf just adds to the chaos.
