Jabber frowns, his hands falling limply to his side as he cocks his head to the side, confused.
He and Rudo had been fighting— finally! Again!— and they usually go at it for hours when Rudo just had… passed out mid fight— fell over and crashed like a ragdoll. And Jabber knows it’s not any of his toxins because he hadn’t managed to land a hit yet. Which was like, totally unfair, bruh. He was totally gonna fight Rudo fair and square— just hands, just pain, and neurotoxins and poisons so they could get high as hell— but now Rudo’s limp on the ground like a dropped marionette and Jabber’s standing there like some loser who just robbed a dude of a good fight, which he didn’t.

"Great, just great," he murmured to himself, glancing back at Rudo who still leaned against the wall, his chest heaving with anger and embarrassment. The room was cast in an eerie red glow from the emergency lights, highlighting the tension in the air.
