Some months prior to the start of the main story, Isaac Thomas (Doctor Renaissance) learns of the world of Remnant and goes there to investigate the many strange happenings that rock that world, especially the remarkable similarities between the local Aura and Semblance powers with the Gifts one can receive from the World of the Forge.
Of course, there's this little issue of the ongoing war against the creatures of Grimm that would get in the way.
To say anything of what a certain immortal sorceress who is trying to forever purge hope from all living things on that world is instigating in the background.
Not to mention the potential interference from Earth's oldest beings and the most mighty warriors in Yiziba's history merging with the living spirits of the great warships of the Second World War and Vietnam.
As many huntresses and huntsman become something more, how far is the Wise Lone Sage willing to go to free Remnant from Salem's machinations without destroying the local culture along the way...?

Two years later, a metahuman hyper-genius polymath named Isaac Thomas went to the same universe to learn how to be a proper "superhero" under the tutelage of Mister Fantastic and Iron Man.
Now it is the summer of 2012. Events in the Marvel universe come to a head when a fracture in the Human Council sees fourteen clones grown from fourteen of the X-Men - including the late Jean Grey, the team's most powerful member - be sent into the universe of the World of the Forge, where they quickly gain the aide of the adopted natives of Yiziba, including Isaac Thomas (Doctor Renaissance) and Hirosaki Chikage (Dragonheart)...

And despite a hiccup that saw Ataru marooned in a home that never really was his, said plan had marched ahead and was now going to explode over Tomobiki, its inhabitants and all those who interacted with that town from beyond Earth.

For many years, the Gashleycrumb House in London served as one of the last orphanages in the United Kingdom. In recent times, children have died and disappeared due to many unexplained reasons as the staff moved to hush up any reports to continue to embezzle the government of social assistance funds. Unknown to all within the halls of the old manor home save its owner, the nimmib elder brother of the infamous Lestrange siblings serving Voldemort, many children were taken away to become slaves of the Death Eaters and other pureblood fanatics throughout Britain.
Such could have gone on forever even with the destruction of Voldemort at the hands of his other-self Thérèse Peverell (the Thaumaturge)...save for the fact that the daughter of Sweet Valley's second-richest family had vacationed in Oxford the previous summer, meeting two of the Gashleycrumb orphans.
Naturally, the current incarnation of the Living Nuclear Reaction gave those two girls a certain offer.
They took it...
...and unleashed a large wing of the Unending League of Super-Soldiers on Britain!
