Izzy hadn't made a move to leave or speak, he was just standing there with his back against the shelf and the notebook against his chest, looking a bit lost. Stede decided he was willing to test fate today, and took a long stride over into the first mate's personal space, reaching for his dainty little ponytail (soft!! his hair was so soft!!), and rubbing the bit of ribbon between his fingers.
