Summary
Garth, one of the last few remaining alphas, is working at the lab when an omega who has run out of her suppressants is brought into the clinic. The fever has already set in and suppressants would be null and void at this point - not to mention they've been deemed illegal by the betas that run their society. So, he's left with only two choices: either turn her away and leave her to fend for herself, knowing that the heat sickness might very well kill her, or accept the responsibility of tending to the omega's needs during her heat cycle.
How in the hell does he keep getting roped into this shit? Oh, right, because he's a sympathetic sucker and everyone knows he can't turn away a patient, especially those that are trying to stay off the beta-run government's radar. Worse yet, this little omega has no intentions of making it easy on him. All he can hope for at this point is that the days will pass quickly and neither of them will develop the desire to claim one another.
