Summary
Roughly 15 months have passed since the end of Gridman Universe. The denizens of Tsutsujidai and Fujiyokidai have had a chance to enjoy their happy endings. The footfalls of a kaiju directed by a mysterious woman break the comforting rhythm of daily life.
What happens to those a happy ending leaves behind? What happens to those who try to force an ending to feel right?
Is anything ever "over"?Note: The translated post-Gridman Universe movie voice dramas are essentially required reading for this work, as they provide a lot of context for what everyone's relationships look like post-Universe that I lean on very heavily; character motivations follow directly from those events and they do get referred to periodically as events that happened.

A rewriting of SSSS. Gridman
A high school student named Yuta Hibiki one day woke up with amnesia and the ability to see things that others could not. Confused by his circumstances, he encountered Gridman in the reflection of his classmate's, Rikka Takarada's computer called "Junk". Things only get weirder and more chaotic when a Kaiju attacked the city of Tsutsu-jidai. To counter this monster's rampage, Gridman and Yuta fused to become the Hyper Agent, Gridman!!!!

Yuta Hibiki is a relatively normal boy living in Tsutsujidai, Japan. At least, that's what he thought, before a Hyper Agent named Gridman started talking to him through an old computer. Even stranger, kaijus have started popping up in the city, and it's apparently up to Yuta and Gridman to protect the city of Tsutsujidai from these rabid monsters. But keeping a secret like this for himself would be far too difficult, so he entrusts his secret to eight of his fellow students, one of which possibly being a Kaiju in disguise. Together, the nine students form the Gridman Alliance, in order to save their city from the clutches of Alexis Kerib. However, even villains can have their strings pulled by something greater, and the puppeteer could be closer to home than anyone could ever imagine...
