With no war to fight and no best friends to corral, this year was for her studies and to set her up for the rest of her life. And so what if she still had a little bit of trauma to work through? She was Hermione Granger; everyone knew she was going to be just fine.
Except for maybe Theodore Nott. And Draco Malfoy. They had an eery way of being able to see straight through her.

ADDED AUTORS NOTE: This was supposed to be a one-shot, I love one-shots that have a bit of a cliff hanger ending to give the option of imagining the continuation for yourself.
