Between Hera's "gift" killing off demigod girls and women that see through the mist, becoming bandits, and the weather problems, it’s all they can do just to survive. But now, with Hazel getting sicker and rumors of a magical healing staff about to be sacrificed to the gods ( a staff which may be the only thing standing between Hazel’s survival and her inevitable death), Nico and Percy know exactly what they have to do.
