Shining golden eyes stare up at him. They are so vastly different than the eyes he got to know all those years ago in Natlan that it leaves him speechless for a second. Lumine looked lighter. When he originally met her, the mistrust had already anchored itself into her heart. Responsibility and loss had shaped her throughout her travels and dulled the spark he sees now. "Thank you" her voice fills the air "That Mitachurl would have gotten a mean hit on me if you hadn't helped" She beamed up at him, unbothered, as if he had not just stopped a massive axe from splitting her in two. This was his chance, he could save everyone and the key to their survival was right in front of him.

Capitano gets sent back in time to help Lumine get stronger for the final battle against the Heavenly Principles. Little did he know, Lumine was not only the key to saving Teyvat but also to open his heart (and not only his).
