Summary
Tom Riddle was back. Oh how he loathes this place. Wool's Orphanage. Just one last time. This would be a new beginning. This would be the moment that would usher in the start of his Legacy. All he had to do was walk back in there, take care of business and then he could leave on his Global Journey. When he returned to these shores a decade later he would begin to make his moves and change their world.
This was the next phase in his plan, but sometimes Fate throws something at your plans. Good thing the rising Dark Lord has a talent for tweaking things to his liking. He's about to embark on the next chapter of his life. Make no mistake, he was still going to become a Lord of his own making, but it's not going to happen exactly how he had intended.
And that will change everything.Because what can happen when a man, setting out to create his own Legacy, meets someone unexpected and chooses to do the unexpected? A family is made and it changes the path to greatness. The plan was to build his Legacy and he will achieve it. It may look a bit different, but it will be better than he ever imagined.

That is her life, her existence, the personification of night. Darkness. Nothing but the unloved, unwanted daughter, born of a Lord's first wife.
Regulus Black. Named like all those before him after the celestial bodies that shown against the blackness. His name was not to shine the brightest, that was his brother's birthright. His name was to remind him of the expectations. Nothing but the unloved spare, whose only purpose was that his heartbeat for the noble family.
A star illuminates her darkness.
The night ameliorates his shine.They come to see that together they are stronger. Together, as if meant to be.

The MIS are six stones of unknown origin that her predecessors determined to be linked to the mind, reality, soul, power, space, and time; though as far as she has been able to determine, they’re little more than uncut semi-precious gems for all the magic that surrounds them. That is until her office is invaded by the sudden appearance of a haggard, gun wielding muggle with a metal arm that curiously shields him from each of her spells.
Who is this enigma of a fractured man with a hundred deadly identities and flickering magic that’s wanted the world over by both muggles and wizards alike?

Summary
Too much loss and too much suffering drove a desperate Hermione Granger to make a bid for a different outcome. Albus Dumbledore had once told her that it was dangerous to meddle with time, but Hermione was willing to sacrifice everything--up to and including herself--to change fate and create a better world for those she loved.
Perhaps she ought to have asked Dumbledore to clarify the dangers of meddling with time.
