Summary
With the Modern Age, people became less and less interested and above such trivial and untrue topics such as 'magic' and 'sorcery' and 'witchcraft', which was seen as past superstitions. After all, such things as 'magic' never bothered the Common Man, so why should they care? This was useful to the governments of the world, who were content on keeping the Arcane and Divine contained to prevent chaos.
Despite this, however, witchcraft did occasionally bleed into society and cause problems, mainly through Ghouls and Ghosts. The Murders of the Heron High prom, the Camp 98.7 Ghoul Massacre, the eldritch battle of the Atlantic, it's a constant fight to keep the horrors of the Divine at bay.
And it's a fight that this group is always at the front of...

Summary
After the disappearances of Lizzy Lane and Dolly Serebryakova, their roommate, a young woman named Viola Graves, reaches out to the Nevermore Hunting Association to find out where they could have gone.
As Uzi, Thad, Cyn, and N investigate the small town of Keypoint, Louisiana, they learn about the legend of the mermaids and their curse, which makes young women and girls disappear over the years.
Things go south when, while staying at the manor of the friendly George Pheolia, Cyn grows feverish and begins to dream of sinister secrets. Only her friends can break the mermaids’ curse and solve the disappearances.
