As she's going through Vale looking for jobs, she finds the Pine Burrow Cafe, which just so happens to be hiring. Oscar Pine is the son of the owners of the Pine Burrow Cafe. He works the front end and is a master of the machines and customers. He loves the cafe. It's basically a second home to him. Despite his calm demeanor, Oscar harbors a hidden disappointment; he gave up his dream of attending Signal Academy so his younger sister could go instead.
