Adam shook his head; even with his face hidden, Lawrence could feel the heat of his blush. “No, I-I want…”
He thrust against him even harder, nearly humping him like a dog, and a thrill laced hot and sure through Lawrence’s blood.
“Adam,” he said softly, and Adam let out a helpless noise at the teasing lilt to his voice, “are you going to make a mess of yourself before I’ve even gotten the chance to touch you properly?”

Summary
The alley was lit only by a solitary light over a fire exit, casting Adam’s face in shadows as he pressed Lawrence to the brick wall. In Lawrence’s peripheral vision, he saw a large mass of a figure stop at the entrance to the alley.
“Adam,” he breathed, his heart in his throat. “He’s–”
Adam guided his chin with a single finger, making Lawrence face him, eyes bright with that mischievous look Lawrence so adored. “God, I’ve always wanted to see if this works like it does in the movies.”
“What?” Lawrence’s pulse was still frantic, and Adam’s hand was suddenly on his neck, stroking his skin with the cool leather, his fingers warm where they peeked out from the stupid fingerless gloves.
His lips tilted in a smirk. “Kiss me."

Summary
His phone, already on the screen with their chat, gives a small vibrate, and a video pops up the way any other would. But this time, it’s a little weirder; a clip of a couple from an anime reuniting and being sweet with each other, even giving each other a brief kiss, with the in-video caption, “me when i see bro again after a long time apart.”
He’s gotten a handful of the same or similar ones as the first time over the past couple of weeks. Until now, apparently. This is obviously an eyebrow-raising step up, but not enough to take super seriously too much, so Akira just lets his heart give that anxious squeeze and brushes it aside, before giving the message a like.
(It's hard enough that Akira's had a thing for his definitely uninterested best friend since high school; harder now that he's sending him these terrible gay joke posts that are all the rage these days online. How long can he take this before he does something rash..?)

Lawrence steps up behind him, and suddenly, all Adam can feel is the length of Lawrence’s body pressed up against his back. He’s not much taller than Adam, but his shoulders and chest are broader, and Adam feels smaller, almost dwarfed against him. Lawrence lays one hand flat against Adam’s hip, and the other picks up the scalpel from the table beside the bed, pressing it into Adam’s palm. His fingers linger for just a moment against Adam’s skin.
