It was not unusual for Superman to show up at his lab when they were in the Watchtower, the Hall of Justice or any other League’s location, and Batman has always been obsessed enough over the alien to remember this means he would speak a lot and needed someone to listen to him. He never minded doing it before, he still likes hearing his voice, even if it makes his heart aches.
