Summary
After picking up a set of encrypted coordinates in one of Dr. Eggman's transmissions, Sonic, Tails, and Amy go to investigate and come across an abandoned G.U.N. base set deep in the mountains. When they encounter Metal Sonic leading a retrieval team, their fight draws the attention of a dangerous foe that seems invulnerable to everything they can throw at it. In the chaos, Amy gets separated from Sonic and Tails and has to work with Metal Sonic to survive being hunted by not only their new, indestructible foe, but also something all too happy to take advantage of the dark.
