After a long day of being the King of Space, Teddy is more than happy to return to his chambers and let his husband take the lead.
“Now who told you that?” He asked, slowly raising himself from his seat and moving his right hand to wrap around the back of Teddy’s neck. “You’re definitely the most handsome being in space. I could never argue that. Most beautiful eyes, kindest smile, greatest king in space? All very true. But most powerful…?” His eyes began to glow a light blue as Billy raised himself to Teddy’s eye level, floating nearly a foot off the ground. “I might have to disagree with that, my love.”

Summary
Teddy had thought he could handle anything, that maybe he and Billy were a little bit old and married - which was its own kind of wonderful - and maybe that meant no more surprises like this, where the breath just gets punched right out of his lungs. But apparently not, because Billy in a mostly proper baseball uniform makes Teddy's, well, everything, just stop working, like an extremely not-painful lightning bolt straight to the dick.

Summary
The tattoo hurt, but it also felt weirdly good in a way Billy wasn't expecting, and for a while after it's done he felt sharp, strong, like he could remake the world. And while that part is technically true, it doesn't normally feel as light as this. Usually it's a heaviness that makes him feel like he could fall through the earth at any moment, but this-- This. This felt like he could leave it.

Didn't expect you to resort to attempted murder so quickly," Teddy says as he slips around Billy to get his head under the shower spray.
"Well, you know me," Billy says, "big, scary, coulda-been supervillan. I'm made of underhanded tactics."

Summary
"Billy, come here," Teddy says, and Billy goes. He goes angry, frantic, crawling on top of Teddy and bringing their mouths together like a bruise. Bruise. Teddy had bruises, but he doesn't any more. Teddy's bruises are gone, faded away beneath his healing factor and now it's only Billy that can feel them, ripe and raw and painful.

"Tommy, it's the middle of the night," Eli says, passing a fist over his eyes to clear the sleep away.
"Take it up with Kate," Tommy shrugs, already digging Eli's old duffel out of the detritus at the bottom of the closet and tossing random handfuls of clothes into it.
Eli gets out of bed, crossing to the blinds and splitting them apart with his fingers. He can just make out the bulk of Kate's car in the dim glow of the street lamp.
"I take it we're going somewhere."

Billy really doesn't want to hate his friends, he loves his friends, but he wishes that for once, just once when he and Teddy shut Teddy's door it wasn't banging open again before they'd even crossed to Teddy's narrow bed. He'd love them a whole lot more easily if they could understand the concept of 'personal time'.

Billy has never had good impulse control. Something pops into his head and he generally just says it, or does it - joining a super-team, anyone? - before he actually thinks about whatever he's doing might mean. So far he's managed to mostly avoid making a complete idiot of himself through some crazy combination of snarkiness and luck. But this time he's not so sure.
