I felt the need to write this because feel like the show highlighted how badly Thomas relied on Nuzo but never the depth of how much Nuzo needed Thomas as well. I hope y'all like it!***

He glanced back down at her.“I love you, so so much,” he said.
“What!?” A confused expression crossed Annabeth’s face, before being replaced with sheer terror. “Percy no! Don’t you dare!”
With the final bits of strength he had left, Percy dug his nails into Annabeth’s arm, hauling her up as high as he could get her.
“Grab her!” Percy cried. Then quieter, to Annabeth, he said: “Please, gods, Annabeth reach for them. Please.”

It was written in quarantine during 2021 and was published to Wattpad for a little while, before I saw the flaw in my ways and moved to AO3. I started the second half after a big break, so the second half of this story was written later, therefore IT GETS BETTER I PROMISE.
