Kohachi thought he’d gotten the whole story last night. Had trusted that he had. What a load of bullshit. Shiki had barely said enough for him to piece together what had happened, and even with that little, it was outrageous. “I need you to not touch those kids ever again,” Kohachi finally says, and Mihai tosses a casual glance over his shoulder.
“You already said that last night. If you coddle them so much, they’ll only stagnate.”
