It takes a minute for him to realize something.

It’s not like he forgets he’s an omega. He’s all too familiar with the nasty business of slicked up thighs, dirty sheets, the wafting of the last remnants of heat. He just. Spends a lot of time wishing he wasn’t one.

OR the nhl runs an incentive program for its top players to motivate them to win. clothing worn by the omega of their choosing will be sent to them throughout the season to encourage and/or soothe them. alphas that win the cup get a chance to meet their scent-picked omega companion and share a rut or heat cycle.

Ilya crouched down until he was at eye level with Shane.
He reached out and brushed his hand along Shane’s jaw gently. Shane’s eyes fluttered closed as he leaned into Ilya’s touch.
Ilya watched it happen, how it was so instinctive… the same way Shane always softened immediately under his hands or when in his presence.
“You’re so responsive for me, Shane,” he murmured, lifting Shane’s chin slightly to face him. Shane slowly opened his eyes to look at him.
Ilya leaned in, bringing their faces close enough that he could feel the hot air from Shane’s breath.
“So tell me something,” Ilya said quietly. “Does Hayden ever get to see you like this?”
“Or is he just playing with my property?”

OR: Hayden finds Shane after the MLH Awards in Vegas where Ilya left him sub dropped & hurting. Hayden makes Shane feel better and the lines between their friendship get blurred. Ilya gets incredibly jealous and fights to win him back. They all end up hurting until they learn how to communicate.
There are both Shayden & Hollanov spicy scenes but *no threesomes* - This fic gets VERY messy and toxic but has a happy ending!
