“All will be well,” she says, knowingly. Skull will have the finest of clothes and indulgences. He will have the ear of some of the most powerful people on the planet. He will have luxury and love (and more sex) than he ever dreamed of.
All he has to do is stay under their watchful eye, to ensure that their precious Cloud doesn’t drift too far. All he has to do is that. It seems a fair price.
