    The same world, but with different biological rules. A soulmate mark manifests on the day they are born. There are late bloomers, whose soulmate mark fades the moment they’re born, but in a year or two, the mark will become clear. Mentioning about the mark is taboo unless otherwise said so, as per the Ratri Clan Heads’ orders. Norman is the first child to not have a soulmate mark, he is also the first child they’ve seen to have a different type of eyes. With the lack of soulmate mark and him being born with a special attribute, the Ratri Head is already interested enough. Months later, another child is born without a soulmate mark. The two children are sent to Gracefield in Isabella’s care.
