Summary
“So it’s time travel?”
“No, not quite,” Albedo gently chews on his lower lip in contemplation on how to simplify the concept. “The Ley Lines hold memories of everything that has ever happened in the world. It appears that this Ley Line disorder has converged the past memories with our current memories.”
Kaeya cocks his head to the side, “So we’re currently in the past?”
“I suppose you could put it like that, but it’s more like our past and our present have collided.”
“So, time travel?”
Albedo sighs, “Sure, let’s call it that.”
A growing string of disappearing people, a catastrophic Ley Line disorder, a chaotic space and a convoluted Fatui plot throws much of Mondstadt into a not-so-distant past, surrounded by uncomfortably familiar faces.
Unfortunately for Kaeya, this means forgoing a much-needed vacation to figure out what is actually going on, which is quite difficult when a certain Inspector keeps getting in the way.
And all the while grappling with the presence of a boy who looks and sounds like Diluc, but is someone far different than the man that Diluc has become.
Gods, he could really go for a drink right about now.

Summary
How inconvenient, Diluc thought, spitting out curses in a futile attempt to silence his coughs. Despite how his burning lungs demanded his attention, his searing gaze wouldn't leave the letter in his hands.
Hanahaki disease. This bizarre phenomenon was the cause of the blood on his sleeves and the white lotus petals sitting innocently on his desk.
If only the flower was a small lampgrass, a calla lily, or anything else, then Diluc would not hesitate to rip the flowers out of his system. Mondstadt's safety would not be compromised if he stopped caring about a single person. This flower, however, was not to be associated with a singular person. It represented a concept that has eluded him for many years now, something he has sworn to protect.
The lotus flower, also known as the flower of dawn, symbolizes purity, commitment, and optimism for the future....
In which Diluc yearns for the splendor of dawn, but the world of light refuses to shine upon him. Meanwhile, there's a serial killer on the loose who wants the blood of knights and might be a yandere for the Darknight Hero.

Summary
“You’re not going to comment on anything we just saw?”
Diluc was hunched over the tavern counter, his back still to him. “What is there to comment,” his voice was so quiet.
“If you hate my existence that much, why don’t you kick me out whenever I go into the tavern?”
Diluc whirled around. “Hate you?”

Or, through an accident, they both fall into a ley line rift that forces them to relive their memories together, while the Abyss hunts them.
