Summary
Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams can’t stand each other. They bicker like it’s a sport, throw barbs like it’s their job, and manage to save each other’s lives in between carguments and sarcastic banter. But when Danny is seriously injured and his ex-wife is overseas, Steve steps in to help—offering his home, his time, and maybe a little more of himself than he ever meant to.
What starts as an emergency arrangement slowly turns into routines, inside jokes, quiet moments on the lanai, and a sense of family neither of them saw coming.
