In some ways, Gotham feels right to Michael. A horrible city filled with monsters and men and people who are both all at once. Since that day all those years ago, Michael has felt hollow. Now that he literally is, Michael has felt more at ease in Gotham than he ever was at home.

Realistically, Tim knew what was happening, he wasn’t stupid. It made a lot of sense given how much damage has come to his neck, that he would be wary of anything getting too close to it. Tim knew that psychologically speaking, his mind and body are just trying to keep itself safe, but still, it’s fucking annoying.
