Summary
Lord Fife's pep talks over the course of the season Colin tortures himself in unrequited love become less subtle as the situation draws to an unhappy ending for a lady who surely deserves to be loved. His suggestions for the acts to love her get a little too graphic. Naturally, he gets punched, because his face just has that look. It's what one does with a friend like Fife.
Trigger warning: Colin losing his temper and taking it out on Fife. Violence solves nothing, but this is fiction.
Some lines of dialogue taken directly from the show (balloon scene) or adapted closely. Also some Bible quotes, because we're well rounded in this fandom.

Summary
