Evelynn is young, insecure and unpopular. She has just been accepted at a college to become a nurse by the will of her parents as they do not support her wish to become an acrobat. In an attempt to have her be more popular at college than in high school, her parents sent her to a party to get to know her future classmates. However, she leaves the party early because she is absolutely uncomfortable there, leaving her to get back home on foot. On her way, she meets a group of five men whose van had suddenly stopped working on a back road. Together, they decide to go to a nearby house for help, unintentionally weaving their fates together.
