Each encounter forces you to realize that you are not just looking for a distraction from your loneliness, but for a connection with a being who can turn your quiet house into a place of shared refuge and mutual healing.
This is the prologue for a branching series. This work is heavily inspired by, and takes place in, the Pet AU created by InvertedPhantasmagoria.
