It's no coincidence that Porsche is the most tenured employee at The Crossroads. Yok takes care of him well because he's a bartender and bouncer rolled into one.
Any establishment that deals with non-humans runs the risk of people getting hexed or stabbed or, hell, even maimed on a regular basis. On good days, the human clients get a little unruly. On bad days? Well. Let's just say Porsche has a pistol loaded with silver bullets that he keeps by the bar, and he had to put fresh rounds in it just last week.

Summary
When they started this twisted game of cat and mouse, Porsche was sure he was the cat. After all, he had the advantage of studying every single blindspot in every single room that Kinn entered. Kinn, on the other hand, had a reputation to uphold. An image of invulnerability that couldn't be tainted with losing his composure because of mundane things like, let's say, having his bodyguard's foot on his crotch during a security briefing.
But somewhere along the way Kinn had taken a different approach; had studied Porsche and found all the right buttons to press. Kinn started using his words. And Porsche, to his own horror, found that he liked them.
Or, Porsche fucks around (with Kinn) and finds out (more about himself than what he'd initially bargained for).

Absently, mind on the work he’s doing, Zhou Zishu says, “Shidi, can you—”
His mouth snaps shut on the request, but it’s already too late.
Wen Kexing turns to him and says, “I’m sick of this.” His tone is almost cheerful. There’s still more malice laced through Wen Kexing’s mouth than Zhou Zishu can remember hearing directed towards him before.
It shivers across his body, and Zhou Zishu closes his eyes briefly before carefully setting down the wall-hanging he’d wanted help replacing. “What do you want to do about it?” Zhou Zishu asks, shifting his weight to prepare for the attack he suspects is coming.
Wen Kexing plays with his fan, silently considering him, and then a smile spreads across his face. “I’m going to make you forget that word.”
