While hunting at the edge of the Girdle, Beleg feels the pull of true sleep. Túrin struggles to keep his hands to himself.

By circumstance, Maedhros fetches up in Sirion under Elwing's oversight, half prisoner half guest. Elwing, steward of the last refuge in Beleriand balances duty and loneliness. In the face of the prospective end of their world, they take refuge in each other.

This was true, thought Fingon disliked being facetious. He shifted foot to foot. If he thought too long about last night, and bringing Maedhros to heel by force, it brought on a queasy, intoxicating hunger.
(Maedhros is healed in Mithrim, and Fingon discovers they share some new inclinations)

Summary
Nestled in a spread of silk and delicate cottons patterned with bamboo and lotuses, the same as one would find in the mountains and ponds on Qing Jing Peak, Shen Qingqiu lays in gentle repose. His head is leisurely reclined on a small heap of luxuriously soft pillows, body relaxed and laid out in a simple, thin sleeping robe that tantalizingly clings to the curves of his body. Despite the icy chill of the room, he looks utterly content, one arm laid across his stomach and long, lithe legs stretched out comfortably.
Luo Binghe looks at him with a deep longing, eyes hot and his heart tender and aching at the beautiful sight of him.
Luo Binghe finds a way to cope with those long five years. Afterwards, he tries to piece himself together with Shen Qingqiu.

Summary
One year after inviting Luo Binghe into the bamboo house to live side-by-side with him, Shen Qingqiu begins having dreams.
Naturally he’s accustomed to dreaming at night, drifting lazily at night through some smatterings of his previous life mixed with this new and tumultuous world he’s transmigrated into. But these dreams are not like that.
Luo Binghe uses his dream powers to get closer to Shen Qingqiu. Shen Qingqiu, utterly oblivious, assumes they're actually just dreams.
