The Kingdom of El is at peace.
It has been ten years since the White Martian Invasion and the formation of the League of Nations. Queen Lara is preparing to finally step down, and pass the crown to Prince Kal.
Prince Bruce has spent much of his time traveling abroad, returning to Gotham Castle intermittently for months or years at a time before venturing back out into the world.
This time is different. This time, he’s returning for an extended stay.
Or: the tale of two princes finding themselves and, in the process, each other.

TourettesDog wrote a prompt on the Haunting Heroes Discord server, and I took it and ran with it.
It’s far from done, I’m just writing scenes in no particular as I figure the story out. These are snippets of what I’ve got so far.

Shame was easier than wanting. Vox made sure it stayed that way, teaching Alastor to keep the mirror covered, to flinch from his own softness, to turn arousal into proof of obedience, and to believe the body he was born in could never be a man’s.
But Lucifer doesn’t look away.
In the Devil’s hands, touch is no longer performance, pleasure no longer a debt. The body Vox tried to break becomes Alastor’s again—wanted, kept, and reclaimed.

Summary
Alastor’s ear twitched. In a blur of motion, his own hand shot up, fingers clamping around the clone's wrist with an iron grip. His head whipped around, eyes blazing crimson, static spiking sharp enough to make the lights flicker.
“What in the seven rings do you think you’re—!”
The clone vanished in a puff of red sparkles.
Alastor blinked at empty air.
And then two very real, very warm hands slid enthusiastically behind both of his ears.
“Gotcha.”
Alastor’s entire body went rigid for one glorious heartbeat.
Then it melted.
A loud, rumbling deer mew burst out of him, his eyes flew wide, then fluttered half-closed in instant bliss. The book slipped from limp fingers and landed with a soft thud on the carpet. His head unconsciously fell back against the couch cushion, pressing eagerly into Lucifer’s hands.

Alastor has been more annoyed than the usual lately, which causes concern among the residents. After discovering the problem, another one arises, as no one would dare touch Alastor's ears and risk losing a limb. Thankfully, there's only one person who can touch Alastor without dying immediately.
