Summary
William spends his days in a continuous cycle: Wake up, attend a university lecture, go home, repeat. His passion for his study has long faded after it turned out less exciting than he thought, and he's stuck with an inconsiderate roommate who doesn't care for him in the slightest. His life is a never-ending spiral of dull nothingness.
Things change when he encounters a mysterious crystal ball out on a walk. All of a sudden, his life is a whirlwind of changes, both literally and figuratively. Between the draconic visitor in his room and his body starting to turn into something else, William might just get the change he didn't realise he was hoping for.
