Summary
The chill of mortality was not unfamiliar to Harry Potter. Death had haunted him before birth, a prophecy tearing his grasp of normalcy from his hands. It had marked him for terrible greatness, for always being the hero. Time and time again, facing a monster of epic proportions. Only to be left on the outskirts of society, cast away, over and over. Harry was near his wit's end of being used for the greater good.
Harry just wanted to get this weird field trip over with when he pulls a boy out of the lake in the cave. Now Harry and Regulus have to navigate between two Lords of Magic and the realization that not everything is what it seems.

(And, later, if she noticed Tío Bruno missing from her party, she couldn't pay it much mind, because everything was frozen and she didn't know why. Everything was stock still; nobody heard her cries. Nobody reacted. And, when she finally figured out that she froze time, it rewound. And rewound. And rewound. until she lived through the same moment over and over and it only stopped when she exhausted herself, falling to her knees and bawling. Abuela looked perturbed, and she tried to ignore the sinking feeling in her gut.)
